Citizens of the Podujevo municipality are facing problems similar to those of the previous four years. Before the 2013 local elections, the Institute for Advanced GAP Studies on an assessment it had made at the time revealed that the main problems in this municipality have been lack of water supply and drinking water network, waste, problems with school objects, river pollution and floods, lack of investments in villages, housing facilities without maintenance and infrastructure.
A portion of these are also recorded in this institute's report, which the new government must deal with. One of the main problems is noted in the primary health system. According to GAP, the Podujevo QKMF has been guided by duty leaders for several years, Koha Ditore writes today.
“Pos this, QKMF lacks medical equipment and supplies, while the Emergency Centre does not meet demands and expectations. Most of this municipality's labs don't work like the family medicine lab in Podujevo, the laboratory in the village of Orlan, and the village of Krpimeh. The ambulance in the village of Mourgula has a lack of medical staff and is therefore out of office”, says the Institute for Advanced Studies report.
