“Concretically, the contract has already entered its implementation phase. All parameters, all technologies, and the deal ended”, said Kremlin adviser for technical and military co-operation Vladimir Kojine quoted by Russian news agencies.
On the other hand, Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan had announced in September that Moscow and Ankara had signed a contract to purchase S-400 antiaircraft defence systems.
These Russian technology missile systems did not match those of the Atlantic Alliance, and this announcement was seen as a show of Turkish president's discontent due to tensions with his Western allies.
Russia is also in talks with Saudi Arabia to sell this antiaircraft defence system.
