Minister of Justice: 690 jobs soon open

Tahiri has declared that since the first day of his mandate, he has been working to have a significant increase in the prosecutorial Council and the Kosovo Judiciary Council under the budget in 2018 so that the opportunity to strengthen the rule of law sector can be given.
In this case Tahiri has expressed happiness that one thing has been accomplished and that 690 jobs will join this sector.

From the first day of my mandate, I have worked to have a significant increase for the Prosecutorial Council and the Kosovo Judiciary Council under the budget for 2018, to enable the strengthening of the law-rule sector and today I am very happy that it was achieved. The approval of the first - reading budget is a most encouraging news on the possibilities we are creating in addressing the needs of sustainable development in our country, including the field of justice. With this increase in budget for the rule of law sector that is highest in the past six years, we are creating concrete opportunities for an efficient justice system.
Consequently, 690 new jobs will be attached to this sector, among them judges, prosecutors, professional collaborators who will influence lowering their number and faster reviews, as well as correctional officers who will increase security and performance of treatment within the Kosovo Correcting Service.
