A homeless man on the streets of Glasgow waited for hours in the rain to preserve a total of 450 pounds belonging to a stranger. James John McGawn saw the money inside a bag left in the front of a parked car, with windows open. Thinking that someone could come and rob the money, he stayed by the car for more than two hours waiting for the owner to return.
Later, he went to the car and took the money and handed it to the local authorities near Livingstone Brown, who confirmed that McGawn had made sure that the bag was not stolen. When the owner John McMonagle, who owns a store at Clydebank, returned to his car, he found a note telling him his money was in a safe place.
McMonagle has estimated the luxury of noble homeless, now trying to raise funds for all the other homeless in the area.
