Officials from the Ministry of Management of Local Power (MAPL) in Kosovo have indicated that accepting the mandate of the new elected chairmanship would take place 15 days after the CEC's certificate of results.
The implementation of the mandate by the new municipal bodies (the municipality seat and the mayor of the municipality) is done with the consisting of new organs, which takes place at a solemn-inaugurative session.
The inaugural session is held 15 days from the Day of Certificate of Election Results, as envisioned with Article 42 of the Law on Local Self-government”, the MAPL's response to the Voice reported, while the certificate of election results by the CEC occurred on Wednesday, November 29th.
According to Ministry officials, in municipalities where the certificate of municipal organs (cheerification of municipal assemblies and the certificate of mayorship) occurs in the 15 days between the day of the certificate could call in inaugural sessions for meeting municipal organs.
