Ladrovci says feasibility for Olympic Stadium will start soon

Construction of the stadium, the business park in Drenas, investments in infrastructure, education and health, are some of the priorities Ladrovci has in this government mandate.

Also, the first of the Drenas municipality has announced that tender for the construction of professional school in Drenas will be opened soon, and within that mandate will also build elementary school in this municipality.

“We are ahead of completion both in education and in proclaiming the tender the ministry has. Thank you for the professional school in Komoran and the 9th grade school in Nice Futice. They will be built are central-level education ministry projects, which have been passed on to the Ministry of Public Administration and we expect very soon to complete, the tender to be announced in these two schools. Professional school, I think within two years because it's a two-year project. And I believe in elementary school somewhere at the end of 2018 it was supposed to be rich. But that depends entirely on the speed of the tender work as the government declares it”, he said.

Ladrovci has added that he will expand investments in the Drenas Business Park, where he expects to be supported by the World Bank and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

“Drenas 2 of 62 hectares. I am a member of the board, along with other MTI members, we have talks with both the World Bank and other institutions to find the tools to build the business park infrastructure as quickly as possible so that we can call on foreign investors to come to invest”, Ladrovci said.

Good news has also been given to sportsmen who have said they are in preparation for the Olympic Stadium, which, according to him, will soon be the opening of the tender for feasibility research.

Also, we have prepared the ground for the Olympic stadium that I believe the prime minister and the Kosovo Government will soon announce the feasibility tender. For them to do their first feasibility of the stadium and then we expect the Hungarian donor to invest and have the Kosovo Olympic Stadium as soon as possible, with all the other assisting facilities this Olympic stadium will have. The stadium is not designed for the citizen of Drenas, it is being done for Kosovo citizens. It's near Pristina Airport, it's 15 minutes from downtown Pristina away. Kosovo's government has no more spending no cents on infrastructure to get the road to the stadium because the road exists, the highway exists, there's no expense to send the electrification because it's already high on 110 kilowatts in that area. It's not gonna waste any sewage or any water supply. These are a factor of assistance because the main factor that geographic position is the best possible position in Kosovo, which connects all Kosovo cities without burdening any city“, Ladrovci said.

He believes that by the next year, he will complete the feasibility part of the stadium and then there are other procedures that will be like the tender's proclamation and continued work at the stadium, which he believes will be ready for international games within 3-4 years. /
