Judo World Champion Majlinda Kelmendi is participating in the evening under way to mark the 3rd anniversary of the Kosovo Olympic Committee's accession to the International Olympic Committee.
In one word, she has thanked those in attendance for whom she is happy to have come to support the sport.
Kelmendi has recalled the time when he felt ignored because Kosovo's representation in several races has been rejected.
It's a great honor to be among the people who have always supported the Kosovo sport. Maybe I know a little bit more about being ignored, don't let me represent your country, after your flag present in a certain race. Although I was a European champion, the World Champion, this was the moment that hurt me the most”, Majlinda Kelmendi, reports Indexline.
She has especially thanked National Olympic Committees Association President (ANOC), Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah for his presence and support of Kosovo sports.
Even Kelmendi coach Tony Kuka thanks Sheikh Al-Sabah has said that from his belief to accept the KOK on the International Olympic Committee, Majlinda has managed to win the gold medal.
