Nobody can move it. UP to turn it into Islamic Center

Student Democracy student organisation reacts to Pristina Deputy Mayor Selim Pacolli's statements, who said my idea of shifting Pristina University to return it to an Islamic centre would also be backed by Shpend Ahmeti, broadcasts Koha.net.

Meddhim Ramisa from the “Student Democracy” says that we students of the Republic of Kosovo are concerned by the statements and plans of the Pristina municipality's deputy head from the AKR ranks Selim Pacolli's plan to turn it into an Islamic centre.

And we students remind Pacolli that neither Serbia at the time of the occupation has ever been able to move Pristina university to the church facility that has attempted and violently placed the Orthodox Church in the Universal Campus, nor once could you, since the UP is the temple of knowledge and not the temple of religious objects, is said in response.

“We as students of the Republic of Kosovo, need the development of the Information Technology Sector Laborators, visa liberalisation, university disposal, employment, and not Islamic centre”, the response concludes.
