The Libyan leader in the part in which he speaks of relations between Russia and Ukraine and Kiev's policy at the time envisioned a grim Ukrainian future.
Speaking of future relations between Ukraine and Russia, Gaddafi predicted the war in Ukraine five years before conflict erupted.
According to the former Libyan president, the problem was that Ukraine sought guarantees for its independence and therefore wanted to join the NATO and European Union pact, reports “Kurir”, Periscopi broadcasts.
“However, there is a big mistake and a poor assessment by the Ukrainian government that it has not heard its people,” said Gaddhafi.
Gaddafi has visited Ukraine and Russia several times. His last visit to Ukraine was in 2008, when the Libyan president met with Victor Yushchenko and Julia Tymoshencon.
Muammar Gaddafi ruled Libya for more than four decades and assumed power when he was only 27 years old in 1969, killing King Idris.
He was killed after a terrible torture on October 20, 2011, in his hometown during a land crash.
UN also called for official investigation into his murder, because he was suspected of war crimes. /Periscopi/
