A suspected drug dealer in Copenhagen has received an unwanted surprise at Christmas, when he has boarded the back of a taxi with about a thousand locks, to find out later that he has entered a police car, reports the BBC.

Danish police have confirmed that he was rushing home when he realized what he had done wrong, the Coca.net broadcasts.

This event took place in Christiania, a semiautomatic neighbourhood of the capital, founded by the hippo in the 1970s and known as the drug trade center.

Police have confirmed that the suspect may face a prison sentence.
