Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has given a deadline for when the issue of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro will be closed.
He's in an interview for RTK2 has said that at the beginning of 2018 there will be news of the demarcation.
“I hope that in the second week of January this issue will be closed and Kosovo will have the right to visa liberalisation, as is the precondition from the European Union”, Thaci has said.
He has also retaliated to Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, who warned that he would prevent Kosovo's membership in many organisations.
“I don't want to deal with the Serbian minister. Kosovo will become part of the United Nations. With the final process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia to be finalised some acceptable agreements by both sides, which will be welcomed by the international community”, Thaci has said.
He has expressed conviction that Kosovo will be full-fledged member in U NESTO of Interpol, as well as EU membership candidate in the European Council, very soon.
