According to an O report ECD, the United States of America, has twice as many doctorate graduates as Germany, its closest rival.
In 2014, 67,449 persons graduated from the U.S., compared with 28,147 in Germany, followed by the United Kingdom with 25,020 doctors and India with 24,300.
Although fifth on the list, Japan has only one quarter of American graduates with 16,039 doctors.
In sixth and seventh place are France and South Korea, which have 13,729 doctors, respectively.
Spain and Italy are in eighth and nine positions with 10,889 graduates, respectively.
Australia is in tenth place with 8,400 doctors.
It is noteworthy that if we look at the number per capita, these values may seem different.
