The Kosovo Government's number two, Fatmir Limaj, has declared that during January 2018, the issue of demarcation with Montenegro will be closed, but, according to him, by another option, which will respect the interests of the two countries.
He has not shown what is the form that will satisfy both Kosovo citizens and Montenegro, but said the demarcation issue will be closed very soon.
On the other hand, opposition party representatives assess as contradictory the statements of senior government officials regarding demarcation, since, according to them, a new version of the Agreement cannot be brought in next month, while the current agreement has been submitted to the Assembly and is expected to be prosecuted at the session, “Zri” writes further.
According to them, there may be a new version without rejecting the current version of the Demarket Agreement.
Political analysts also estimate that without rejecting the current version, there can be a new version of demarcation and then renegotiate the agreement with Montenegro.
