Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published “Construction Prices (IKN)“for the three July-September months of this year.
According to the AKS, construction prices rose by 0.6 per cent more in the third quarter compared to the previous one.
“The General Importance of the Construction Cost in Kosovo (IKN) in the third quarter 2017 was raised to 0.1%, compared to the second quarter 2017. The largest upgrades were in categories: material (1.1%), where the upgrade was observed with many subcategories: hydro-sanitary materials (5.2%) and construction materials (0.9%)“, explained in the Statistics Agency communique
The cheapest in this period were machines per -2.8 percent, energy -2.3 percent, and other costs -0.1 percent.
Construction costs increased by an average of 2.3 percent compared to the same period last year
“Plus, compared to the third quarter 2017 to the third quarter 2016, the Construction Cost Index had an average of 2.3%. The index's rise was largely observed in categories: transport (16.7%); materials (2.7%) and other costs (1.7%)”, the communique shows.
It was cheaper this year than in the third quarter, machines per -2.1 percent and energy -0.5 percent.
