For the company “Genigps”, 38 workers currently work on a full annual contract, but in summertime, the number increases. „Over the season, the number of workers runs up to sixty-“, the company's owner, Hermogen Gecaj, tells us.

The Albanian company, originating from Gjakova, has an annual circulation of eight figures. Over a year we have a circulation of 10 to 12 million francs“, the Gecay work volume explains by isolating the „Hirsland Clinical Hospital Stepnashorn“, in St. Gallen, for eight years who've been doing all the gigs and renovations done.
We do between 30 and 150 thousand francs each year at the Stephashorn “clinic, Hermogeni shows.
It also owns a series of residential objects of collective residence in the Sankt Gallen region and is a co-invester in several other objects, along with investors known in immobilia (independence), such as Marcel Nieder and “Schläpfer architect”, with whom Genigips has been in close co-operation for years.
I work with many architects and investors, but some 14 architects and 6 investors are constantly working with them“.
With the vast part of the architects he worked at at first, good cooperation is still maintained today. „90 per cent I have the same architects since the beginning“shows Gecaj.
<x0.>Puna with gips is a hard job, but when you learn it, it's a good and very interesting job for me“, recalls the difficult beginning of the Gjakova village of Janos, where, after finishing middle schooling in the general media, emigrates to Switzerland.

Today, after 13 years of being a construction worker, Gecaj is surprised at how he has managed to be so successful in this heavy, more responsible business.
The start has been very difficult, with 26 years of age I was starting as an entrepreneur by investing a significant amount of the family budget, fearing that I am embarking on a risk that could bankrupt family existence“, recalls Hermogeni's mixed feelings, amid success and failure.
However, failure had no place for a worker like Hermogen - he knew this job well. From his arrival in Switzerland, he had done other work than as a surprise and knew his profession to the smallest detail.
I started working for the first time as a spy at the end of 1993. All 12 years I've been working at the Kolub Gschwend“.
With his business, Genigips started in 2004 taking over the owner's signature he worked for last year. Croatia's firm where Geni worked has sold the gipsy firm and proposed the name he currently bears Geni's nickname.

One year after the opening of the company, Hermogen joins his brother, Kola, and from there their business has grown rapidly that they themselves could not believe where so many demands were put on them.
We had a record job in a year. Even today, I am surprised by this great belief of Swiss builders to give me all that work” tells us Geni, who has some architects and investors he's been working with for a long time.

The Humanism of the Genigipps does not recognise religious divisions
Hermogen belongs to Catholic religious faith, but has financially supported the construction of the Wili Albanian mosque. “I am an Albanian of Catholic faith, but when I have been asked for the support of building the Albanian mosque of Wili, I have supported it with a significant sum”, says Hermogeni.
Genigipis never sidelines the human aspect. He has built houses for homeless families in Kosovo, helped with money to the sick and people in serious economic condition.
Genigipps sponsor about 50,000 francs per year of sports events in the region
Benefiting from the huge financial support she gives each year are FC St. Fun with about 25 thousand francs, FC Brühl with about 12,000 francs. The Genigis company also supports the Albanian team, FC Besa, Switzerland assists Switzerland, sponsoring tennis player Belinda Bencic, and others alike.
