Baton Haxhiu, discussing the findings brought by the new Commission, led by Bulliqi, asked questions that “s is possible for a professor to say that the border was here after the cows' pasture was”.
For these comments, Florim Isufi has reacted via a Facebook status.
Florim Isufi's full reaction:
Given the fact that I am only one of ten members of the Border Line Marking and Maintaining Commission, it is not primarily up to me to be promoted on behalf of the commission about the unscrew and extremely harmful attack on the activities of this commission. But since a private television show with journalist Baton Haxhiu has mentioned my name and appeared and discussed by distorting and misinterpreting some of my presentation at the Kosovo Government meeting, I have to react to and inform the opinion with truth. My presentation stems as a result of the Kosovo government's decision No.0106 date where the commission's activity is detailed and therefore mine within it. Then law no. 04/L-72 for the State Border Control and Supervision, Article 40 which describes the end limit of the commission's activity and within it and mine. So every attempt to misinterpret and misinterpret public opinion about my activities and results I consider to be deliberate and backward to cause irreparable damage to the process we are going through. Based on our competencies, it informs you that all the graphic, graphic, and cross-check evidence we've used only to prove whether there is a deviation of the border line signed in Vienna in 2015, not to make new lines, new coordinates, new size of territory, etc. This is the rule of the law in question, and that the journalist and his conversationor had to know (or have they known), but for certain purposes they have overlooked. I inform you that if legal infrastructure was created that would enable the demarcation of the border line without a prior mandate, and marking the border line without international preliminary agreements (demarketing) should not be given the chance to any journalist, analyst, etc. to make such illegal demands from my professional activity as it came out yesterday from the journalism show in question. What was disturbing in this show was the unscrewd lie about the spent budget, the deviation of the official facts of Kosovo's KSA as not relevant by fulfilling Montenegro's will, and by trying to connect the Kosovo-Montenegro border line with other parts of the territory that with political and legal decisions belong to Kosovo, etc. Dear friends, I stand firmly in the data of effective control that I've presented and that I have the conviction that based on this trend I will continue to find even more. This activity will do for the benefit of Kosovo, whether I am at the State Commission for Border Line Management. I will never be a lawyer for Montenegro when Kosovo's territory is at stake. Something like that would have to be worth all the other professionals, and it happens everywhere, and I've recently proven it by the commissions and state professionals in both Croatia and Slovenia. Professor Martin Berisha himself has witnessed this by being citizens of Montenegro and working extremely hard on the commission for the benefit of the Republic of Kosovo. Don't you talk enough? What characterizes my presentation is that the final results are not in conflict with material used on this issue that can easily be found in other government documents on the issue.
