Even though it has already been confirmed by Interpol for the removal of the warrants, in Serbia they say otherwise and as if they do not want to believe that.
Serbian Parliamentary Committee for Kosovo Chairman Milovan Drekun has announced tonight that Interpol has not lifted the warrant for Haradinaj.
According to him, Interpol speaks for Haradinaj “arrest has made it invisible to other countries, except for Serbia”.
“The arrest has become invisible, which means Haradinaj can go to France or elsewhere and no one can stop him, but if he comes to Serbia's territory, it certainly won't be like that”, Drescu told the Prva and added that he can't escape the conclusion that Interpol's decision is political.
According to him, the <x0-freeist decision turns back” the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina that is under way in Brussels, since reconciliation cannot be discussed after that decision.
“This decision is harmful and shows that justice cannot be achieved, with this decision discriminated against victims, but also the state of Serbia that has not been enabled to implement justice”, Drescu said.
The Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs has warned complaints in Interpol's decision, which speaks of Serbia's arrest issued to Ramush Haradinaj and 17 others, to be abolished.
Kosovo Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has confirmed the news about the removal of the warrants for Haradinaj and 17 others from Kosovo.
