Alarming figure: 116 people dead in accidents this year

16 more people have lost their lives this year in accidents year-on-year, up from 100 deaths last year until November, respectively, this year are 116.
In November alone, this year's life was lost by 14 people, until last November the death toll was 8.
Also in July, where the flow of vehicles is high, this year it marked the highest statistics of fatal accidents, where 17 people died in one month, while 9 people died last year.
According to a police board given Indexline, the number of people injured in accidents has been markedly larger this year compared with 2016.
Out of 10 252 injured in 2016, this number has increased to 10 637.
Police have appealed traffic participants in particular to drivers to be vigilant in communication, especially now in winter season.
Kosovo's “Police, with the aim of reducing accidents in road traffic, appeal to all traffic participants, in particular vehicle leaders, to be careful and alert at the direction of their vehicles, especially in this period when weather changes have begun: snowfalls, fog, where at night and morning hours we have restrictions on visibility and presentations that can make our roads difficult. Automotive management owns advance winter equipment under traffic law”, police spokesman Daut Hoxha said.
