A 78-year-old man has been arrested Monday after trying to pressure a young girl at the Berlin City Metro, pointing at her gun, writes The Local.
After boarding the underground train on the U6 line north of the city, the elderly man aggressively demanded that the 25-year-old woman free the country, reports German police, escort albinfo.ch.
He told him he was a police driver and then showed him the gun in his bag.
Even this strategy seems to have failed. Police reportedly arrested him.
The police got his name, confiscated his weapon, which proved to be empty. He is now accused of cheating, saying he was a police officer and of breaking the weapons possession law.
