Police say one person has detonated two grenades during a murder trial in the Ukrainian town of Nikopol, killing and wounding seven other people.
The father of a victim had taken two grenades to court and deported them, has told Radio Free Europe, Hanna Strachevska, National Police spokeswoman for the Dnepropetrovsk region.
This person has been killed and seven persons including three defendants, two guards, a court worker and one viewer -- have been injured. The injured have been sent to the hospital to receive medical treatment, Strachevska has announced.
The defendants are being tried for killing two men with rifles in February 2016.
