President Donald Trump warned today that no dictator should underestimate the United States. He spoke from the U.S. Airbase in Japan at the first stop in his trip to Asia, which is expected to be dominated by the North Korean nuclear crisis.
President Donald Trump was greeted with cheers by air base military personnel Yokota, in western Tokyo, as he appeared in an aircraft pilot jacket.
No one, no dictator, no regime or country, should underestimate American determination. They have underestimated us from time to time in the past. It didn't work out, did it? It was not nice for them to have”, President Trump said.
President Trump added that the US “will never surrender, will not be shaken and will not cease to protect “our people, our freedom and our wonderful American flag”.
History has repeatedly proved that the way of tyrants is an ongoing march towards poverty, suffering and submission. But the migration of strong nations and free peoples, obedient for their values and with confidence in their future, is a tested path to prosperity and peace”, President Trump said.
After the speech at Yokota base, the president traveled by helicopter to the Kasumigasek Club.
As members of the club excited, the Presidents Trump and Abe signed white hats with the inscription “Donald and Shinzo once again make the alliance grander”.
President Trump arrived in Japan after a stop in Hawaii where he visited the memorial at Pearl Harbor, where the surprise Japanese Navy attack in 1941 drew the United States into World War II. For President Trump, there was also a secret information hearing from the American Military Command for the Pacific. / VoA
