According to the preliminary results of Sunday's elections, published by the CEC, Shpend Ahmeti is for 237 votes ahead of LDK candidate Arba Abrash, but the latter's expectations are that during the count of 1824 votes, the result will be reversed.
On the other hand, movement officials “Determination” are convinced that the provisional vote count in both Pristina and Prizren will only confirm their candidates' victories in these two municipalities.
Ahmetaj: Voter counting ends today
Burim Ahmetaj, co-ordinator at the Centre for Counting and Results (QNR), said that today the bail vote count for Pristina begins, and that the same day the final result for the Pristina municipality will be known.
According to Ahmetaj, post-Pristina vote count starts on bail for Prizren municipality and other municipalities.
