Sljivancanin recalls that Pralyak had been thrown into prison and that he was seen in the sports hall and sometimes in the visiting hall, reports “Venestit”, Periscope broadcast.
I've never been with him in a department. Croatians from the Mostar group were not so often in prison, they were released on provisional release until the start of the” trial, he said.
Sljivancanin especially remembers the meeting when his family came to him after the court sentenced him to 18 years in prison. Praljak then, he says, came to greet him and his family.
“He was also fair to my family when I was sentenced to 18 years in prison, he came into the visiting room, when our families were there and said: “I saw how you act in prison and honor each other and count on any support for help”, Sljivancanin added.
When someone wants something, he's able to do everything, it's only up to human character and determination, he said, linking this to how it was possible for Pralyak to get the poison in court to do the act of suicide.. /Periscopi/
