Citizens of this municipality again turned to ballot boxes in the runoff to select their first one.
According to the results of the winning Central Election Commission in this municipality is LDK candidate Lutfi Haziri.
Haziri won 65.8 per cent and his counter-Candidate from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks, Sami Kurteshi managed to secure 34.2 per cent of the vote.
This result, meanwhile, is viewed by Kurteshi as it is. According to him, there was an apparent decline in the number of voters from subjects who have not gone to the runoff, and that unfortunately, they have not believed in the change or target it.
“A confirmation of the Vetevendosje Movement's insufficient growth for victory and change, as well as a LDK victory”, Kurteshi told Indexline, when asked how he sees the outcome of the runoff.
He has also said he has expected a more favourable result for change.
The voter has voted for the continuation of this governance. Whatever this vote has been taken, regardless of the means and means used, is the vote of citizens of the Gjilan municipality”, Kurteshi added.
Among other things, Kurteshi has been asked about how you now see the same governance in Gjilan for the next four years.
According to the deputy of the Vetevendosje Movement, the candidate in Gjilan, this governance is considered to be misgovernance, as well as corrupt, harmful and degrading governance from the urban character of whole life.
With the same people in government, no better government can be expected, just as the current experience has witnessed, that there cannot be. The Vetevendosje movement will continue with strong, constructive but controversial opposition to politics and misgovernance, even more insistent and decisive”, has ended Kurteshi.
It must be added that in the October 22nd elections, Kurteshi had secured 26.97 per cent of the vote as Haziri failed to pass the 50 per cent, so a second round of voting was defeated.
