Today it is marked by International Radiology Day. November 8th, known as the day William Conrad Rontgen discovered the existence of X-rays in 1895, is the day of presenting these medical image values.
Bujar Gjikoli, radiologist, said November 8th is a day of importance in the field of medicine. He's been talking about the history of this day and how it's managed to become visual representations of the body.
This field has to do with their physical achievements. The scout called him with the unknown X. But later it was called Rontgen because of the inventor”, he said today on the morning show “Kosovo Morning” on Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK).
He estimated that this area moves with technological developments. But according to him, it's a little expensive.
“A device is expensive; it takes time to buy it. We expect next year to be invested in this area by the government. We need new technique”, he said.
According to him, there has been progress in services, as there is reduced waiting for magnetic resonancement.
Gjikoli suggested that Kosovo was created in this context.
He said he has interest in specialising in the field of radiology.
