He also indicated that he is committed to taking action and other decisions to address all the demands and challenges that victims of sexual violence face during the war in Kosovo, and will address this category with the highest priority.
In this case, Minister Hamza has offered him all the help and has opened up the possibility of regular communication with the management association of this category to address demands in real time.
The executive director of the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors Feride Rushiti said this compensation does not mean bypassing all the suffering this category has suffered, but, above all, through this compensation the state is showing that it has care.
And don't forget, that 18 years after the war this category hasn't stopped fighting to recognize their right, and I'm saying it's the first government that has taken the bold step to confront the past to offer social justice to all victims of sexual violence that have suffered during the war in Kosovo”, Feride Rushiti said.
