Recica: Within two weeks, the disability commission becomes functional

At the Committee for Health meeting, and Social Goodness today, Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Management Skender Recica has reported on the Ministry's priorities and challenges.

Minister Recica stressed that priority and objective for it remain the creation of employment policies and reduction of unemployment and implementation of social assistance measures for the needy.

MMPS faces challenges for insufficient budgets and non-form labour markets.

Determining the minimum wage remains another challenge. It has also cited veterans' issues and the formation of the Commission for determining the degree of disability.

Enver Hoti has called for implementation of the law on the books, because according to him, it's a problem in itself.

Fatmire Kolcak, a member of the Commission, said the comprehensive and ambitious plan could be realised with the budget divided by 2018. She alluding to the public sector wage increase, asked the minister to know if there are also increases in pensions. She also mentioned the matter of leukemia rest, which, according to her, should last for another six months.

Time Kadriy, a member of the Commission, commended the minister for introducing war veterans on the budget line, but requested that the commission for verifying the degree of disability become operational soon.

Haxhi Avdyli, a member of the Commission, asked to know how much the minister for the rights of workers in the private sector will work, where, according to him, there is mistreatment in this sector.

Bekim Haxhiu, a member, has been hesitant about the issue of firing workers from the KED company, which according to him, is about 100. .
