Finally, several protests are being held in Catalonia, in which the release of Catalan parliamentarians -- arrested after violating Spain's constitution with the declaration of independence last week -- are required. But the latest protest called for Wednesday has not attracted many people after itself.
More than 50 roads are blocked in Catalonia. Various groups of protesters have also blocked train lines in Barcelona.
In many cases, drivers themselves have been confronted with demonstrators who blocked roads last morning.
However, everything has gone smoothly. Most of the shops, restaurants and markets have opened up.
Former Catalan Prime Minister Carlos Puidgemont has fled to Belgium to escape prison. But a large number of Catalone's regional parliament deputies have been put in prison.
