Zimbabwe's president, Robert Mugabe, is facing the ultimatum appointed by his party to resign on Monday, following the surprising speech during which he refused to leave the president's post.
Zanu Party - The PF, which has dismissed Mugaben from the party leadership, says it will file charges against him unless it resigns until 12:00 local time.
The weakening of Mugabe's power began when the army intervened Wednesday, organising a military stamp for his departure.
The crisis began two weeks ago when the 93-year-old leader dismissed his deputy leader Emmerson Mnangwa, angering army commanders who saw him as an attempt to appoint his wife Grace as the country's next president.
