Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has been declared to the media following the release of all charges in the MTP case.
After being acquitted of the basic court in Pristina, Limaj has shown the performance of this long process, the challenges and confidence he had in justice.
“Historically we're used to getting good news in November. After an unprecedented persecution of over 7 years, over 2700 days, orchestrated by individuals who have been taught to build careers at the expense of other people, we have finally gladly appeared before the citizens of Kosovo to reconfirm what I have said from the first day of April 28, 2010 that I, the family, the associates, have worked for example, opened up new horizons for our country, have served with devotion. No one will be able to find any useless cents from us.
By driving Kosovo out of the mud, offering modernised roads, not allowing public property to be privatised and looted, they found a way to prevent my work. From a respected minister in Kosovo, they turned me into a hated man in this country. I didn't give up, I remained haughty, being very convinced that I served this land.
Trusting in God and justice, which is my duty in front of my family, and continuing to blend my family's personality, to continue with my associates. I stood firm, to the end of witnessing before the citizens, before the family that I was assigned to serve the country with purity, love and devotion. We have not violated the law, but we are devout members of this country. From day one, until today I have been obedient to justice” Limaj said.
