Kosovo's Democratic Order, as in the past, even this time, aims that through complaints which are fully based on incompatible evidence, to correct the electoral process, in any case that have been recorded violations which affect the distorting of the will of citizens expressed in the election”, it is said in communique.

The LDK, based on the Law for General Elections and Local Elections, near the Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtres, has filed three complaints concerning violations recorded in the Pristina municipality, Dragas and Kamenica, as well as a complaint to the Istog Community has been exercised near the Supreme Court of Kosovo.

“In the Pristina municipality, the Democratic League of Kosovo and its candidate, Arban Abrashi, consider several violations, such as the influence of voters, incompatibility and interference in results forms, lack of ballot papers from conditional ballot envelopes, large numbers of invalid ballots, etc. which then directly influenced the final outcome of candidates for mayor of the Pristina municipality, with the request that all of these violations be corrected through the recounting, said the statement.

According to LDK in Dragash, as if even in the case of Istog, numerous violations have been found in the voting process through mail, so even in this municipality it requires that the voting process be annulled through mail and that the outcome of this process for each candidate, due to the final outcome of the mayoral election.

The “in the municipality of Kamenica, the consistent violation of the LDK branch, at this stage, has to do with the process of certified mayoral candidate of Kamenica in opposition to the Law on Local Elections, which requires that the candidate have been a resident of at least three years in the municipality in which he is running, while evidence proves that the VV candidate has become a resident of the municipality of Kamenica in August of this year<1m> is said in the statement.

For Istog, the Democratic League of Kosovo has asked the Supreme Court to change its decision The PZAP, with which the LDK complaint has been approved as a base, has only been cancelled through the voting process in order not to go to revote because the process that has been conducted within the municipality has been fully regular.

The Democratic League of Kosovo, hoping on fair and legal decisions regulating this area, believes competent bodies will not fall prey to anyone's pressures and threats, but their decisions to do so in the spirit of preserving the electoral integrity and maintaining citizens' trust in the process.
