In his reaction, Hasani has warned that there may be other anti-mumpig prices if it is observed by the MTI.
Not only in the flour industry, but wherever it is observed there are branded prices (i.e. all goods that enter cheaper prices than produced in the country), we will set the anti-dumping price”, derclari Hasani.
The first of the Ministry of Trade and Industry said the decision on setting the fee to flour importers from Serbia to Kosovo has been taken based on the laws of the Republic of Kosovo to protect the flour industry in the country.
All in the end, Minister Bajrami said Kosovo would respect the CEFTA agreement, but based on our laws and on the protection of our production.
By contrast, media today reported that Serbia's Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunication in Government Rasim Lajiq has called on Pristina to lift the flour tax or Serbia will be forced to take countermatures.
Lajic has even filed complaints in CEFTA and to authorities in Brussels as a sign of dissatisfaction with this decision.
