Kosovo, Albania with joint plan for Skenderbe year

The Diaspora ministry took note of a communique for the media reported that Z. Diaspora Prime Minister Dardan Gashi, on his first official visit to the Republic of Albania, met with Culture Minister Mirela Godbaro.

Hoping to establish fruitful and good co-operation, I welcome you both to your new task as well. There are undoubtedly numerous activities and organisations that we will together be able to convey Albanian culture in the best form”, Godbaro said.

On the other hand, Gashi announced Minister Godbarko with plans by the Ministry of Diaspore and Strategic Investments in the field of preservation of Albanian identity and culture in the diaspora, simultaneously thanks to the current co-operation with the Ministry of Culture.

“Co-operation will still intensify as the focus is on the already known Albanian Culture Days project in Diaspora where co-ordination in organising joint cultural activities is necessary”, Gashi stressed.

Both conversationators agreed to become a joint action plan so that in the Year of Skenderbeu a better co-ordination with activities that will serve as a cultural passport not only for our fellow countrymen but for all countries and citizens of the countries where our diaspora is present.
