Haradinaj urges Rama commitment to strengthen Kosovo independence

The two governments -- the Kosovo and Albanian -- have already started their joint meeting during the 28 November holiday. The meeting began today in Korca, and then tomorrow, it will continue in Vlora. Haradinaj in his address has asked Albania's leaders to help Kosovo membership in international mechanisms.

Haradinaj has indicated that strengthening Kosovo's position in the Balkans can only be accelerated through Kosovo and Albania's co-operation. The Kosovo prime minister has declared that with 12 agreements expected today to be signed between the two governments -- that of Albania and Kosovo -- will deepen even more co-operation between the two countries.

In his address, Kosovo's prime minister has said that the two governments -- the governments of Kosovo and Albania -- together complement the Euro-Atlantic dream of the two states.

Haradinaj has said the government he leads is working for Kosovo's NATO membership, as well as converting KSF into the Kosovo Armed Forces.

Kosovo's European agenda has been integrated and is now Kosovo's governing programme. NATO membership, our strength skills, we are serious, and for this work we are working with our partners. In time, we will have our force turned into armed forces”, Haradinaj said.

On the other hand, he has indicated that fighting corruption still remains a challenge for Kosovo leadership. He has declared that in the dialogue with Serbia in Brussels, the US should also be participating.

“Fighting corruption remains a challenge, this new evil, which endangers Kosovo in many ways. We have more work to do about logistics, business-making infrastructure. We are committed to dialogue with Serbia. We think that the epilogue of dialogue should bring recognition of Kosovo from Serbia. The U.S. ” should be present in the dialogue.
