An Egyptian groom has been seriously hurt because he was hit by an automatic that went off by a winner celebrating a friend's marriage.

The groom is seriously injured after being shot in testicles and is now being treated in the hospital.

Osman al-Asayed, 28, was enjoying his last night as single, when the gun was fired and accidentally bullets fell toward him.

Police announced that the weapon was fired by a 26-year-old.

It is reported that he had fled the scene, but the police have taken him and are now being questioned.
