Foreign phone codes in Kosovo are terminated in 2018

In June of next year, the +377 phone codes, +381 and +386 will be used, and the total telephone code +383 will be implemented. According to information from the Electronic and Post Communications Authority (ARKEP), it could currently be called in Kosovo by about 160 mobile operators operating in the world. +383 Code Kosovo was divided in December 2016 by the International Communications Union (ITU).

According to ARKEP, with the aim of implementing the state code as quickly as possible 383, they have made all necessary preparations and had intensive communication and meetings with operators, so that, reportedly, implementation can be as easy and that all eventual challenges during this process can be addressed correctly through application of regulatory and technical measures. This authority has also revealed the activities of phone operators in Kosovo to implement the 383 code, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

“since March 2017 mobile and fixed operators have opened up the 383 range for national calls, within the (on-net) network and off the (off-net) network, so between operators and international calls”, it is said in a response of the ARKEP to the newspaper.
