Paroffy Witness said he stands by his earlier statement to the Court.
He said that from 2003 until 2008 he worked as a urologist at the “Medicus” clinic, on the ground floor and that he was a co-owner for the ground floor at this clinic.
The Witness said that minor surgical interventions of urological nature were conducted on the ground and that he had worked together with Lutfi Dervis on a medical team.
The team of anesthesiologists said it was Sokol Hajdini, Sylejman Tulla, and Islam Bytyqi, and nurses who participated in opera operations said they were the Makoli Hope, which was the only nurse who could take part in surgery.
Asked by case prosecutor Valeria Bolic that if before an operation was conducted or the team informed of the nature of the operation to be conducted, the witness replied that the nature of the operation, which would be carried out in advance informed were all teams and anesthesiologists and nurses alike in most cases, and that for the nature of the operation, they were reported a day earlier or two and sometimes urgently.
The Witness said that the records regarding patients have been noted in protocols and that the responsibility for maintaining these records has been to the most technical.
While asked by the prosecutor if any patient would ask for information on the surgery he had or would you be able to offer this information, the witness replied that such a thing is impossible, since the data has not been electronicly preserved and that those protocols have been confiscated by police.
Prosecutor Bolic also asked the witness whether he knew whether the clinic “Medicus” had license to perform surgical surgery and whether the license involved authorisation to perform kidney transplantation.
And the witness answered that they had licenses for surgical surgery but that he had not read of any such authorization for kidney transplantation and that, according to him, they had not always had such authorization to the ground floor where he had worked.
The prosecutor then again asked the witness whether on the basis of his urologist experience and after working on other clinics on the basis of his knowledge whether a private medical clinic has the authorization to perform urological surgery, does that mean that it has the right to perform kidney transplants?
But the witness answered that there is no knowledge of such a thing.
The Witness's testimony showed that the staff who worked at the clinic had been exchanged.
Some people who worked on the ground floor also worked on the first floor, while in terms of medical sisters, only the other instrumentaries, not”, the witness said.
He said he was just a Makoli Hope player who worked on the first floor and on the ground floor and that no one else has replaced him.
Asked by the prosecutor about Dr. Manfred, Dr. Kenan and Dr. Yusuf Sonmez, the witness, said Dr. Manfred had accidentally met with a conference in Berlin, while doctors Yusuf Sonmez and Dr. Kenan said he never met them.
Sokol Hajdin's lawyer, Rame Gashi, asked the witness whether an an anesthesiologist or he directly participates in the opening of the wound and intervenes in the wound to close it.
The witness replied, however, that an anesthesiologist neither opens nor closes the patient's wound.
Lutfi Dervis's attorney, however, had no questions about the witness.
The trial hearing in the case of “Medicus” is ongoing and Dardan Imer is expected to be heard as the next witness.
Regarding Tune Proffi's statement given on November 15, 2011, as well as the statement by witness Dardan Imer given on September 11, 2012, is set to be part of this procedure except for questions and answers relating to evidence that has been declared unacceptable.
In this case, Lutfi Dervisi, owner of the “Medicus” clinic, in which kidney transplant was allegedly performed, is accused of trafficking with human beings and organised crime, while Sokol Hajdini is accused of serious bodily injury.
Part of that judgment was Arba Dervishi, the son of Lutfi Dervis, but the procedure against him is isolated because he is on the run.
Urologist Lutfi Dervisi had been sentenced by the Constitutional Court in Pristina to eight years in prison in 2013, while Sokol Hajdini to 3 years.
The Court of Appeals had later confirmed Dervis's sentence, while Heidi had added her years to her prison sentence from three years to 5.
Then the Supreme Court retriald the case “Medicus”, while fugitive Lutfi Dervis was arrested several days after the Supreme Court's decision to retrial.
At the initial review session in July 2017, Lutfi Dervishi and Sokol Hajdini were acquitted.
