In the judicial process known as the case “Medicus” today is expected to testify to former Kosovo Parliament President Shaip Muja.
Shaip Muja had witnessed in the process in February 2012.
In this case, former Health Minister Alush Gashi testified last week.
Gashi had stated during his testimony that the clinic “Medicus” had license only for cardiosurgic intervention, while for urological intervention, said the clinic had been denied request to be equipped with licenses because according to him in Kosovo it was prohibited from transplanting organs.
Lutfi Dervisi, owner of the Clinic “Medicus” in which the prosecution claims kidney transplant was performed, accused of trafficking in human beings and organised crime, while Sokol Hajdini was charged with serious bodily injury.
Part of that judgment was Arba Dervishi, the son of Lutfi Dervis, but the procedure against him is isolated because he is on the run.
Urologist Lutfi Dervisi had been sentenced by the Constitutional Court in Pristina to eight years in prison in 2013, while Sokol Hajdini to 3 years.
The Court of Appeals had later confirmed Dervis's sentence, while Heidi had added her years to her prison sentence from three years to 5. /Cashho. com
