All drivers in Kosovo are forced by this date to own winter tires and chains, while bus drivers and transport trucks must have additional equipment if snow chains cannot be placed on the driving wheels.
Police spokesman Daut Hoxha has told Indexline that by November 15th, Kosovo Police plan additional operational measures for monitoring the law's implementation in traffic, and that it is required by all participants to take in time all preparation measures under law in force.
Hoxha also added that police appeal to all drivers to be alert in light of and climate changes and to reduce visibility and fog in order to avoid traffic accidents, reports Indexline.
“The KPS will continue to monitor all roads in the country, and wherever it faces leadership that conflicts with traffic regulations. The legal measures will be constantly taken to ensure greater security for all participants on our 48x1> roads, Hoxha concluded.
Otherwise, all drivers in Kosovo have only 10 days left to prepare with these equipment so they are not fined.
