It costs 7.2m euros for rented cars, no budget for ambulances

Kosovo institutions have allocated a budget of more than 7.2m euros to rent 358 cars, which they will use for the next 66 months, the Zeri newspaper writes.
But such a decision is not being made for the purchase of ambulances that patients of public health institutions need.
Only 92 ambulances are available in the service of patients throughout Kosovo, where leading family medical centers have only one ambulance and when asked to intervene on two consecutive occasions, then the lives of citizens are at risk, while the country's institutions are estimated to have thousands of cars available to civil servants.
Last week the newspaper “Voice” reported that through a public tender conducted by the Central Procurement Agency (AQP) company “Automita” has won 4 pounds of tender: “The long-term use of rented vehicles”, where the value of all tears is above 7.2m euros, until the contract between contracting authority and the winning company is signed on October 16th and 24th of this year.
For the use of a <x0->Dacy SANDERO Environment” institutions will pay 247 euros per month, while using a “Renault Megan” will pay 347 euros per month.
