Danas and other media in Serbia report that Suriname's minister has stressed that the decision to withdraw recognition of Kosovo had come after numerous consultations with the president of state, broadcast news.net.
Nersalima further said this greatly impacts the improvement of reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
Dacic, on the other hand, claimed that this was a decision that expressed friendship between Suriname and Serbia.
Otherwise, Kosovo government officials have stated they have not yet received any official documents announcing Suriname's withdrawal of Kosovo's recognition.
It was Daciq who presented a document on Tuesday, saying Suriname attracts recognition of the state of Kosovo.
