Thaci has said that Kosovo is grateful for the support Canada has given to Kosovo and added that this support should continue.
“Just as Kosovo has friends in the world, so there are opponents of the Kosovo project and all West and values representing the West”, Thaci said, in the Presidency's announcement.
Fury, on the other hand, has indicated that Canada is well aware of efforts to encroach on Kosovo and the entire region.
“We are concerned with Russia's efforts to destabilise the” region, Furey said.
Thaci further said Canada is Kosovo's strategic partner and that it should deepen co-operation between the two countries.
