A planet with earth's size and similar surface temperature may be the closest <x0 planner that can contain life”, according to a new study.
The recently discovered new world, dubbed Ross 128b, was found orbiting an 11-year-old red star from Earth.
With current technology, it would take about 141,000 years to reach this planet, the Express broadcast.
Although it is currently 11 years away from Earth, the planet is moving towards us, and is expected to become our neighbour within 79,000 years.

Astronomers at an observatory in Chile found that the red star Ross 128 is taken from a planet every 9.9 days. Research co-author Dr Nicola Astudillo-Defcu said: “This discovery is based on more than a decade of monitoring, analysis and techniques”.
These qualities make these plates good in search of planets that can contain life, so they're studying.
