But Apostolova has also cited the major problems Kosovo has, adding that local authorities must do more in fighting organised crime and corruption, as well as in building an independent judiciary.
Apostolova, who made these comments at the “Agency for European Reform conference: The progress report on good governance and rule of law” has also cited the issue of financing political parties.
It has still described this as a problem, as well as appointments to independent bodies, Klan Kosova reports.
The EU representative has praised Prime Minister Haradinaj's decisions on the dismissal of several members of the boards that have been illegally appointed but, according to her, there is still much work to be done in this area.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, long ago, has made a decision to dismiss several members of the Bureaus of Directors of several Public Enterprises.
The decision on their dismissal had come after the Anti-Corruption Agency validated that the Public Enterprises Law was violated in case of their appointment.
Apostolova also mentioned the necessary improvement of public administration.
