The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces have released the last bet of Islamic State (ISIS), Raqa, ending the four-month siege of the city, which has so far served as the de facto capital of I SIS in Syria.

In the centre of the city, the militants' black flags have been torn apart and replaced, the Express broadcasts.

The battle has devastated nearly every building in the city.
The city's stadium has been the refuge of intelligence operations in Raqqa, according to Cilan.
During the fighting, agreement was reached that ISIS fighters and their families were offered an exit route to leave town.
