Veterans Ministry Creation Required

Already veterans are not even promised pensions, and the issue continues to remain without a solution.

Therefore, a member of the Veterans Verification Commission, Agush Bouja, is proposing that a new minister of veterans' Ministry of Veterans, along with the government cabinet that was formed a few days ago, be established.

Contacted by Klan Kosova, he has said that the idea was also held by the chairman of this Agim Ceku commission, but had never been experienced.

I didn't give this proposal first, because Agim Ceku said it earlier. It is imperative that this minister be created, because veterans are the most neglected category in Kosovo”, Buja has said.

This proposal, he has not written in official form for Kosovo institutions, but plans to come to Kosovo and meet with Prime Minister Haradinaj, and other heads of institutions.

“At the end of November I am planning to come to Kosovo and meet Haradinaj. I think we're going to ask that a minister be founded, who could solve many issues that have not been resolved so far as to veterans”.

Buja is considering that the current government, under obligation to establish this ministry, because it has now been months since veterans have not received their salaries.

I think the government will have a positive attitude. I have already received positive reactions from both opinion and veterans. The Government Assembly is obliged to create this ministry because they have established the ministry to satisfy everyone's political appetite, while this is necessary for veterans”, he says.

According to him, Kosovo can take for a model Croatia that had established this ministry since 2000, and still has an integral part among other executive dictatorships.
