The first European underwater restaurant project has been discovered and is amazing. The concept is that of a half - sunken monolith, where customers will be able to see the seabed through a 36m wide panoramic window.
Called “Under”, the restaurant is designed by the Snuhetta Agency and will be located at the southernmost point of the Norwegian coast in which the village of Balyt is located.
It will also function as a maritime life research centre, reports “Daily Mail”, Periscopi broadcast.
Customers should not be afraid of the cracks in the walls, because they are three feet thick.
The restaurant is designed to hold between 80 and 100 guests who will be able to watch wild animals on the seabed through a window that is 36m wide and 13m high.
Sea food is likely a key feature in the menu of this strange restaurant.
Shentonta explains that this restaurant will not be used only for customers who want to feed on seashells, but it will also serve researchers to see, among other things, if wild fish can be trained with sound signals.
Construction of this restaurant is scheduled to begin in February 2018. Projected conclusion is February/March 2019. /Periscopi/
