The White House ordered NASA is working with international partners to develop plans to return to the moon and travel beyond Mars' planet, administrator Robert Lightfoot said in a press release, “reported. Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
“NASA will develop a plan for an innovative and sustainable exploration programme with trade and international partners to enable human nature to expand across the solar system, turning people into the moon for long-term exploration and exploitation pursued by human missions in Mars and at other destinations”, Lightfoot said on Thursday.
Earlier Thursday, sir. President Mike Pence at the inaugural meeting of the White House National Space Council said that within 45 days senior administration officials will submit recommendations for a new US space policy.
During the initial meeting, Lightfoot discussed the ongoing programs, including the study of the possibility of building a nearby orbital gate of the earth or an advanced advance advance that could be a guidance station for robotic and human missions on the surfaces of the moon and Mars.
In September, NASA signed a joint statement with Russian Space Corporation Roscosmos for the research and discovery of deep space.
Chief NASA's explained that the National Space Council, established by Trump, will modernise, centralise and co-ordinate national space policy.
