Orionid Meteres appear each year, with performances producing about 20 meteors per hour, reports “Daily Mail”, Periscope broadcast.

Tonight and throughout the rest of the weekend, meteoroids from the Halley comet will hit the earth's atmosphere at a speed of 88,000mph, (238,000 km/h), thus allowing lighting to be seen with the naked eye.
Tom Kerss, an astronomer at the Royal Greenwich Observatory, said: “Orionoids produce about 20 meteors under absolute perfect conditions. ”
Their performance is active throughout October, but Kerss says the best time to see it will be between midnight and dawn on October 22nd, when the sky is darker and their appearance will be brighter.
It will also be visible tonight and the best time to catch them will be around 1:30.
Experts recommend that your eyes adjust to the dark for about 20 minutes.
Kerss said: “We expect the peak to occur on the night of October 21/22, when the new moon will be placed before the radiation of the show the meteors seem to spread to the east. ”/Periscopi/
