US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has paid an unprecedented visit to Afghanistan. Ao will talk to the leaders of this country about the new strategy of the United States to complete the 16-year-old war.
At today's closed meeting at Bagram Airport, which is the largest American base in Afghanistan, between Mr. Tillerson and Afghan President Ashraf Ghan, who was accompanied by chief executive Abdullah Abdullah, has been discussed in the fight against the rebels following the withdrawal of most NATO forces in 2014.
We should definitely continue the fight against the Taliban and others, in order for them to realize that they will never achieve military victory”, Tillerson told reporters after the meeting.
